William Edward Camp III was Bank Clerk. He This child is listed in the 1870, Chambersburg, Franklin Co. PA census, age 6, with his stepfather, John R. Orr, his mother, her mother, Rebecca McKee, age 70, and two step brothers: Charles McKee and John Orr, ages 1 and 1 mo, respectively. He is listed in 1880, now called just Edward, age 16, clerking in a bank, with the same people plus stepbrothers Frank, 8; Bronson, 5; and Harry, 1. In 1900 Maggie states she has had 7 children with 5 living. Gone is William Edward and his stepbrother Charles. Since she only had 6 children living with her in 1880 this information does not tell which of these children had died. There is a span of 4 years between Bronson and Harry, one could have died there. Both of the boys mentioned in 1880 were old enough to be living with their own families in 1900 but I could not find W. E. in the PA 1900 soundex. Helen Myers always said he died of T.B. but did not say when. Since Maggie was at home in December of 1863 when William Edward's father died, I would assume she had either just had the baby or was expecting him. He was born on 6 November 1863 at Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of William Edward Camp Jr..

     William Edward Camp III died on 3 March 1892 at Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, at age 28; At the home of his parents, Mr. & Mrs. John R. Orr. He was buried on 7 March 1892 at Falling Spring, Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.

     Clarence Mortimore Camp This child is not listed with either his mother, Phoebe Lucy Miller, or his father in the 1860 census. Since he was not baptised until October, perhaps he was sickly and died or he could have been adopted by a member of the Miller family. I don't believe he ever showed up in a Camp family. He was born illegitimate on 14 April 1859 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Arendtsville, Adams County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Clarence Mortimore Camp.

     William Edward Camp There is also an entry for this birth in the Arendtsville Lutheran Church. He was christened 5 January 1861. He was born on 16 March 1860 at Arendtsville, Adams County, Pennsylvania; Beechersville Evang. Luthern & German Ref. Church. He was the son of Nash Griffith Camp and Julia Ann Amelia Hoover.

     Annie Davies Camp (an unknown value). She was born on 19 July 1871 at Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Nash Griffith Camp and Julia Ann Amelia Hoover.

     Annie Davies Camp died on 14 May 1967 at Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio, at age 95.

     

Cameron Camp was Sport. He He worked for a time at the Youngstown Sheet & Tube as a clerk. Quit one day and never worked again. He lived for a while with S. R. Craver and Mame [his sister]. Mame always protected him but S.R. finally had had enough and he moved in with another sister, Annie Thomas, where he remained the rest of his life. We always enjoyed Uncle Cameron. He showed up for weddings and funerals - always first around the buffet table. He played cards at the Elks Club every afternoon. He never married but 'went with' Beryl Sample, who worked at Powers Jewelry Store. She gave him a very nice pocket watch. He was buried at Fairview Cem., Arendtsville, Adams County, Pennsylvania. He was born on 30 March 1874 at Pennsylvania. He was the son of Nash Griffith Camp and Julia Ann Amelia Hoover. Cameron Camp was in the census He was living, as a lodger, with his sister Annie and her family. He was employed as a real estate salesman. in 1930 at Youngstown, Mahoning, Ohio.^1,2

     Cameron Camp died on 16 September 1968 at Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio, at age 94.

     Cleo Dale Speer was born on 24 May 1927 at Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio.

     Cleo Dale Speer died on 4 November 1999 at Clearwater, Pinellas, Florida, at age 72. She was buried in May 2000 at Poland, Mahoning County, Ohio.

     Charlotte Brunk was born on 9 November 1942 at Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois. She Charlotte had a previous marriage to a man named Cabot. No children from this marriage. before 1970.

     

Richard Mirfield Craver was Salesman. He was born on 23 November 1932 at Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio. He was the son of Thomas Wilford Craver D.V.M. and Margaret Mirfield.

     Richard Mirfield Craver married Cynthia Wagner on 11 February 1956 at First Community Church, Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.¹ Richard Mirfield Craver resided in 1960 at Madeira, Hamilton County, Ohio.² He and Cynthia Wagner were divorced circa 1973.²

     Richard Mirfield Craver died on 24 June 1991 at Barrett Cancer Center, Cincinatti, Hamilton County, Ohio, at age 58. He was buried circa 26 June 1991 at Belmont Park Cemetery, Liberty, Trumbull County, Ohio; Conversation with his sister, Saralee.

     Cynthia Wagner was born on 25 September 1934.

     Cynthia Wagner married Richard Mirfield Craver, son of Thomas Wilford Craver D.V.M. and Margaret Mirfield, on 11 February 1956 at First Community Church, Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.¹ Cynthia Wagner and Richard Mirfield Craver were divorced circa 1973.²

     Cynthia Wagner died on 7 November 1996 at Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, at age 62.³

     

     Helen M. Thomas married Earl Myers. Helen M. Thomas was born circa 1900. She was the daughter of Annie Davies Camp.

     Earl Myers died on 19 February 1951 at Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio.¹

     Virginia Roberts She was a very brilliant student. Attended the Univ. of Michigan. Was married and while he was getting his masters there she shot herself on Mother's Day. She had an allegy to some foods and evidently ate something that depressed her terribly. She was born circa 1928 at Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio.

     Virginia Roberts died in 1952 at Michigan.

     Dana Randall Jack was the son of Bertha Irene Camp.

     Ralph Beecher Knouse was born circa 1885. He was the son of Ada Mae Decema Camp.

     Ralph Beecher Knouse married Myrtle Mae Cozins circa 1915.

     Edward Camp He first appeared in New Haven, 6 Sept. 1643, fined for being late for training. He took the Oath of Fidelity 1 July 1644. He was granted land at Chestnut Hill, May 1650, making him one of the first settlers of what is now Woodbridge. Edward's widow, Mary, married 2nd 4 Apr 1662 (called Widow Camp who lives at Chestnut Hill) John Lane of Milford. See Lane's will dated 11 Sept 1669. He was christened on 21 September 1617 at Hunsdon, Herts, England.

Samuel Camp He married 2nd on 4 Oct. 1682 Mary Camp, b 22 Mar. 1663/4, probably the daughter of William and Mary (Smith) Camp. They had children: Mary, Hepzibah, Enos, Joel, and 2nd Joel. This information is from Families of Early Milford, by Abbott. in 1682.
