     Agnes Rae was born on 11 August 1851 at Govan, Scotland. She was the daughter of Peter Rae and Helen Jack. Agnes Rae appeared on the census of 8 April 1861 at Newmains, Scotland.¹

Agnes Rae was Agnes was said to be a steamloom weaver in the book which listed her death. on 20 June 1868.¹ She was buried on 20 June 1868 at Cambusnethan Cemetery, Cambusnethan, Renfrewshire, Scotland; This information came from Alan Paterson. Have to get book title from him.²

He resided circa 1650 at Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut; until 1658, then moved to Milford CT and then later to Norwalk, CT. by 1663.¹ He left a will on 10 May 1688 at Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut; I Thomas Betts of ye Towne of Norwalke, aged seventy years or thereabout being by ye hands of God at present infirmed and weake of body, yet ...... declare this to be my last will and testament.
I do will and bequeath unto Mary Betts my dearly beloved wife half my new dwelling house, ye south end thereof, andhalf my home lot, both plowing lands and pasture lands and half my orchard with all the [?] as fences and ye like. and half my household goods and at her decease to dispose of all her estate unto her owne children and her grandchild, Hannah Camp, also I do give unto her one cow and five pound p annum. during ye term of her life, which I do appoint m;y sons to pay equally unto her annually. Also I do give and bequeath unto my son l'Thomas Betts, besides what I have heretofore given him, my meadow which lies at Charles Creek. Also all ye meadow which I have lying at Sarabock kRiver, also a third pte of my land at Pprimpawalke. As also part of my lot at Calf Pasture from ye lot of John Belden, on ye west wide of ye cart path to ye narrow of ye lands between ye path and ye creeke.
Also I do give and bequeath unto mh son John Betts, my second homelot wich lyeth upon Dry Hilll. Also my ppine hill lott, which lyeth between two lots of John Bouton, Sr. Also my Cove Lott lying between Richard Holmes and Christopher Comstock. And my meadow at Rocky Spring. Also I do give and bequeath until my son Daniel Betts ye rest of my Calf Pasture lot not given to Thomas Bets, also one thir pte of y land at Primpawalke, also my second division of meadow on ye other side of Norwalke River, also I do give and bequeath unto my son Samuel Betts one half of my Gratuety Lott, also my second division of six acres to ye hundred, also my pasture lott also my meadow which lyeth between ye homelot of Samuel Keeler and ye cove. Also athir prt of my land at Primpawalke.
Also I give and bequeath unto my son James Betts ye other half of my now dwelling house and half my homelot arrable and pasture land, also half my orchard not given to my wife, also my first division of meadow on ye other side of Nrowalk River, also all my land near Strong Brooke, also half my grqtuity lott, also my lots at Sarabock Brooke lying on bot[h ends of Mathias Sention [St. John] Sr. lott.Also one hacre $ half of my land lying near ye boggy meadow Brooke also I do appoint my sfive sons, lThomas, John, Daniel, Samuel and James to pay to my dearly beloved wife twenty shillings apiece per annum during her widdowhodd. And also I do appoint my sons, all of them, to provide for and winter my wives cow and any young cattle she may have.
Also I do give and bequeath unto m;y daughter, Mary, wife of John Raymond, ten pounds besides what I have given her: which I do give to her children, she to have improvement of it during her life, and at her decease to return to her children. Also I do will and bequeath unto my daughter, Sarah Betts, ye other half of my household goods and ten pounds to be paid her in current country papy, also I do will and bequeath to my five sons all my twnety acres to ye hundred & estate of Commonadge equally to her divided. Also I do make and appoint my dearly beloved wife my whole and sole Executrix and administrator of this my last well and tewtament, and I do request my friends James Olmsted and John Olmsted to be ye overseers of this my will to assist and advise in ye distributions.
In confirmation of ye promises I have set to my and and seale this tenth day of May, one thousand six hundred eighty and eight.
