     Diederich Wilhelm Kenter He married 19 Sept. 1782 in Arolsen: Johanna Luisa Henrietta Kneuper. He was born on 1 October 1759 Vorden, [Kr. Hoxter].¹ He was the son of Henrich Wilhelm Kenter and Maria Amalia Meyer.

     Johann Henrich Gutheim It looks like this man is the son of Franz Gutheim. He was born on 13 August 1781 at Arolsen.¹

     Heinrich Konrad Kenter was confirmed; The sponsor at his baptism was Amtmann Niemeyer of Sternberg, lifetime occupant of the Houses Wobbel.

     Heinrich Konrad Kenter married an unknown person. He was born on 25 July 1749 at Wobbel, Ev. Ref..¹ He was the son of Henrich Wilhelm Kenter and Catherina Hedwig Kelkenberg.

     Heinrich Konrad Kenter died on 19 January 1756 at Wobbel at age 6.² He was buried on 23 January 1756 at Wobbel.²

     Rosina Maria Kenter Sponsor at her baptism was the wife of Amtmanns Niemeier of Sternburg, the head of the Houses Wobbel, Frau Rosina Niemeier. She was born on 9 January 1752 at Wobbel, ev. ref..¹ She was the daughter of Henrich Wilhelm Kenter and Catherina Hedwig Kelkenberg.

     Rosina Maria Kenter died on 17 September 1752 at Wobbel at age 0.¹ She was buried on 19 September 1752 at Wobbel.¹

     Simon Wilhelm Kenter The sponsor at his baptism was Philipp Kelkenberg, the mother's brother of Blomberg. He was born on 23 November 1755 at Wobbel.¹ He was the son of Henrich Wilhelm Kenter and Catherina Hedwig Kelkenberg.

     Simon Wilhelm Kenter died on 14 June 1756 at Blomberg at age 0.¹ He was buried on 20 June 1756 at Blomberg.¹

     Catherina Hedwig Kenter The sponsors at her baptism were Frau Catharina Madgalena, Wittibe Theopolds and in former times Kelkenbergs, the childrens Grandmother. She was born on 2 January 1754 at Wobbel.¹ She was the daughter of Henrich Wilhelm Kenter and Catherina Hedwig Kelkenberg.

     Catherina Hedwig Kenter died on 20 September 1756 at Wobbel at age 2.¹ She was buried on 22 September 1756 at Wobbel.¹

     Jacob Yoder His will is abstracted in Family Line publication "Abstracts of Berks Co. Wills, 1800-1825". page 32. Plantation where I now live and all other estate to be sold and divided as follows: to sons Daniel, Peter, John, Abraham, and Jacob and daughter Elisabeth Graeber, dau. Catharine Anstat, dau. Magdalena Anstadt, dau. Esther Barto, dau. Mary Monsch, each 1/12 and children of dau. Susanna Herner, deceased 1/12, and children of dau. Barbara Oyster deceased 1/12. Executors: Son Abraham and son-in-law Abraham Anstat. Witnesses Thomas Lee and Samuel Lobach.¹ He was born circa 1732.

     Jacob Yoder died on 12 March 1803 at Rockland, Berks County, Pennsylvania. His estate was probated on 14 March 1804 at Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.¹

     Hermann Kenter Sr. According to the church book Hermann died at the age of 75 but that seems to be high, which is often the case in earlier years. On Oct. 21, 1654 he declared himself to be the age of 57 and in 1600 he said he was 63 and to have been born in Bosingfeld. [Witness in the chambers Jud. Files 1.B.110 and 1.L.24.] A birthdate around 1597 seems to be more fitting. His father, Ludwig Kenter took on Hermann's grandfather, Johann Kenter's, estate in 1592 and with this a marriage used to be connected. When the big fire hit in 1632 the estate was completely burned down. [I don't understand any of this last paragraph - it comes directly from the Kenter book.]. He was born circa 1597 at Bosingfeld, Hanover, Germany.¹

     Hermann Kenter Sr. married Agneta Deppe [Depping] circa 1619 at Bosingfeld, Hanover, Germany.² Hermann Kenter Sr. was buried on 2 January 1661 at Bosingfeld, Hanover, Germany.¹

     

     Agneta Deppe [Depping] died at Bosingfeld, Hanover, Germany; At age 96, according to church book. She According to the church book in Bosingfeld she died at the age of 96. However, in 1679 she was heard as a witness and declared her age to be 88 [Chamber Jud. Files 7, p. 132]. Heidenrich Deppe [Depping] from Bosingfelld, living in Erfurt [Thuringen] in 1652, called Agneta Kenter his dear sister. This was written with his own signature from April 14, 1652 in files G.G. 549. She was born circa 1591 at Bosingfeld, Hanover, Germany.¹

     Agneta Deppe [Depping] married Hermann Kenter Sr. circa 1619 at Bosingfeld, Hanover, Germany.¹ Agneta Deppe [Depping] was buried on 9 February 1683 at Bosingfeld, Hanover, Germany.¹

     Hermann Kenter jr. A third child, his daughter, was a godmother for Kruger from Schwelentrup in 1687: sister of the late Kenter from around Braunschweig - this is considered to be Hermann Kenter, jr. The children of this marriage were all baptised in the Evangelical Reformed faith. There were other unnamed children of this marriage: a son born around 1675 who was listed as 12 in 1687; a son who was baptised 27 Mar. 1673 [godfather was Henrich Geilers]; a son born around 1681 who was 6 years old in 1687. According to the citizens-register of 1687, Hermann Kenter of Bosingfeld had sons of the ages 18, 14,12,9 and 6, and no daughters. [The daughters were all married at this time.].

     Hermann Kenter jr. died at Bosingfeld, Germany; At age 64.¹ He was born circa 1624 at Bosingfeld, Germany.¹ He was the son of Hermann Kenter Sr. and Agneta Deppe [Depping].

     Hermann Kenter jr. married Anna Catharina Hancke on 15 July 1656 at Bosingfeld, Germany.¹ Hermann Kenter jr. was buried on 21 November 1688 at Bosingfeld, Germany.¹

     Anna Catharina Hancke She was baptised a Catholic, the daughter of Mayor Simon Hancke and Margarete Nueber in Lugde. Two older children were Maria and Michael Hancke [church book of the catholic community of Lugde]. She was baptized on 21 September 1640 at Ludge, Germany.¹

     Anna Catharina Hancke married Hermann Kenter jr., son of Hermann Kenter Sr. and Agneta Deppe [Depping], on 15 July 1656 at Bosingfeld, Germany.² Anna Catharina Hancke was buried on 1 June 1688 at Bosingfeld, Germany.²

     Henrich Kenter was the son of Hermann Kenter Sr. and Agneta Deppe [Depping]. Henrich Kenter In the Kenter book, on page 97, it lists the wife of Henrich Kenter as a sponsor of Hermann Kenter, Jr. 1st child, Marie Elisabeth Kenter. Her name was Elisabeth. There does not seem to be any more mention of this man in the book. He has no children listed.

     Henrich Kenter died circa 1680 at Barntrup.¹

     Marie Elisabeth Kenter Sponsors at her Evan. Ref. baptism were the wives of Henrich Kenter and Hans Binder, Elisabeth and Maria. She was baptized on 2 February 1658 at Bosingfeld.¹ She was the daughter of Hermann Kenter jr. and Anna Catharina Hancke. Marie Elisabeth Kenter was buried on 5 February 1658 at Bosingfeld.¹

     Henrich Kenter was baptized on 5 April 1659 at Bosingfeld.¹ He was the son of Hermann Kenter jr. and Anna Catharina Hancke. Henrich Kenter was buried on 21 June 1659 at Bosingfeld.²

     Anna Catharina [Margarete] Kenter was the daughter of Hermann Kenter jr. and Anna Catharina Hancke. Anna Catharina [Margarete] Kenter On page 97 there is a long paragraph about who this woman married. Looks like 7 Oct. 1685 she married 1st: Hillentrup, Franz Kruger alias Beck Franz who died 1711-12. Married 2nd: March 1714, Hillentrup: Henrich Kuhfuss [Kovot] alias Gronner. I think there were four children but can't tell who the father was. She was baptized in the LDS church on 30 March 1660 at Bosingfeld.¹ She was confirmed circa 1671 at Bosingfeld.²

     Anna Catharina [Margarete] Kenter died circa 1728 Schwelentrup, [Go-Ger.-Reg.].²

     Catharina Elisabeth Kenter Her Godmothers were: Catharina, wife of Kaspar Bunte; Catharina, wife of Henrich Knese; Anna Elisabeth, wife of Hermann Frevert.
She married in 1682, Hermann Bunte who was born between 1643 and 1652 and died in Asmissen at the age of 84. He was buried 28 May 1727 in Bosingfeld. She was baptized on 21 November 1662 at Bosingfeld.¹ She was the daughter of Hermann Kenter jr. and Anna Catharina Hancke.

     Catharina Elisabeth Kenter died on 25 November 1715 at Asmissen at age 53.¹ She was buried on 29 November 1715 at Bosingfeld.¹

     Lucigen Kenter I assume this is a daughter. Her sponsors: Anna Lucia, wife of Barthold Wrengels from Hamelm; Lisabeth, wife of Henrich Botiger; Anna Catharina, sife of Hermann Hancke from Hohenhausen. She was baptized on 3 November 1665 at Bosingfeld.¹ She was the daughter of Hermann Kenter jr. and Anna Catharina Hancke. Lucigen Kenter was buried on 10 December 1667 at Bosingfeld.¹

     Agnesa Kenter This is most likely the daughter named Agnesa. There was a daughter, named Agnesa who married Diederich Grone from Sonneborn on 26 Aug. 1685 in Bosingfeld. Also the fact that her Godmother was named Agneta helps the case. She was baptized on 3 April 1668 at Bosingfeld.¹ She was the daughter of Hermann Kenter jr. and Anna Catharina Hancke.

     Johann Arend Kenter He married Anna Catharina Krull 18 Dec. 1704 in Bosingfeld. His genealogy is continued in the Kenter book right down to 1943 with the birth of Heinrich Simon Julius Kenter, who was still living at that time. He was born circa 1678 at Bosingfeld.¹ He was the son of Hermann Kenter jr. and Anna Catharina Hancke.

     

Johann Henrich Kenter was Innkeeper/farmer at Bosingfeld, Germany.¹ He The death entry in the church records wrongfully claimed his mother was Agneta Deppe, she was instead his grandmother. Like his father, he was an innkeeper and farmer in Bosingfeld. His marriage in 1689 was celebrated very 'lively'. It is said that Johann Henrich Kenter accepted presents even tho it was against police diction. However, there was no substantial evidence for that. During the celebration father-in-law and son-in-law had a misunderstanding and they fist fought. After his first wife's death he married Anna Margarete Grogrewe [Hochgrafe]. She was probably the daughter of the Schattilger Henrich Gograwe from Holzhausen close to Pyrmont and of Anna Margarete, widow of Berend Luhde. The marriage was short and only produced one son, who was born after his father's death. He was named Johann Hermann at his baptism on 13 Sept. 1709 in Bosingfeld. Johann Hermann Kenter married Margarete Krenteler and died a young man before June 16, 1745.      Before his marriage he had had a daughter, Anna Margaretha Ilsabein Kenter, with Anna Margarethe Wehrmann of Almena. She was born March 10, and baptised March 21, 1738 and confirmed March 26, 1752 in Almena. After Johann Hermann died, his widow adopted the child. The entry in the judical paper of Sternberg on June 16, 1745 reads: "Margarete Krentelers, the widow of the passed away Johann Hermann Kenter, declares that she will be for the child, which her late husband fathered before their marriage, a rightful and well caring mother. She eventually married a man by the name of Hermann Christoph Kleindiek and they had children. They changed their name to Kenter and all those children carried the last name Kenter.² He was baptized on 2 September 1670 at Bosingfeld, Germany.³ He was the son of Hermann Kenter jr. and Anna Catharina Hancke.

     Johann Henrich Kenter married Catharina Margarete Deppe, daughter of Hilmar Deppe, on 18 September 1689 at Bosingfeld, Germany.⁴ Johann Henrich Kenter was buried on 14 August 1709 at Bosingfeld, Germany.⁵

     Catharina Margarete Deppe was the daughter of Hilmar Deppe.¹

     Catharina Margarete Deppe married Johann Henrich Kenter, son of Hermann Kenter jr. and Anna Catharina Hancke, on 18 September 1689 at Bosingfeld, Germany.¹

     Catharina Margarete Deppe died between 1705 and 1707 at Bosingfeld, Hanover, Germany; There is no death date for Catharina Margarete but her last child, Johan Bernd, was born May, 1705. He was named for her brother. Her husband married again and had a child, posthumously, baptised Sept. of 1709 and this was referred to as a short marriage.²

     Anna Dorothea Kenter was baptized on 16 December 1690 at Bosingfeld.¹ She was the daughter of Johann Henrich Kenter and Catharina Margarete Deppe. Anna Dorothea Kenter was buried on 28 April 1691 at Bosingfeld.¹

     Unnamed Kenter was baptized on 5 March 1692 at Bosingfeld.¹ He was the son of Johann Henrich Kenter and Catharina Margarete Deppe. Unnamed Kenter was buried on 16 March 1692 at Bosingfeld.²

     Johann Ludwig Kenter His godfather was Johann Christoffel Schonstock. The baptism meal was considered to sumptuous by the authorities. As a result they had to pay two thalers in penalties.¹ He was baptized on 26 August 1696 at Bosingfeld.² He was the son of Johann Henrich Kenter and Catharina Margarete Deppe.

     Johann Henrich Kenter was baptized on 6 August 1700 at Bosingfeld.¹ He was the son of Johann Henrich Kenter and Catharina Margarete Deppe.

     Johann Henrich Kenter died on 5 June 1717 at Bosingfeld at age 16.¹ He was buried on 8 June 1717 at Bosingfeld.¹

     Johann Bernd Kenter was baptized on 8 May 1705 at Bosingfeld.¹ He was the son of Johann Henrich Kenter and Catharina Margarete Deppe. Johann Bernd Kenter was buried on 5 August 1705 at Bosingfeld.¹

     Jobst Wilhelm Kenter All children of this marriage were baptised in the Evangelical Reformed religion. After Jobst's father died and his step-mother married again Jobst did not get along with them. They called him a dunce and in 1718 he left with almost nothing. Evidentally his step-parents were fairly well off. They had house servants and field servants. circa 1693.¹ He was baptized on 7 July 1693 at Bosingfeld, Germany.¹ He was the son of Johann Henrich Kenter and Catharina Margarete Deppe.

     Jobst Wilhelm Kenter married Anna Ilsabein Drewes on 31 July 1720 at Bosingfeld, Germany.² Jobst Wilhelm Kenter was buried on 12 December 1732 at Bosingfeld, Germany.³

     Anna Ilsabein Drewes She has two entries in the church book for her baptism. Nov. 9 1701 is the other but since the entry is to be found among the entries for December the December date seems more likely. After her husband's death she remained a widow for two years and then married Theophilos Erich Koster. She was christened on 9 December 1701 at Bosingfeld, Germany.¹

     Anna Ilsabein Drewes married Jobst Wilhelm Kenter, son of Johann Henrich Kenter and Catharina Margarete Deppe, on 31 July 1720 at Bosingfeld, Germany.²

     Anna Ilsabein Drewes died on 20 January 1762 at Bosingfeld, Germany, at age 60.¹ She was buried on 24 January 1762 at Bosingfeld, Germany.¹

     Anna Margaretha Loysa Kenter She married 19 Nov. 1748 in Bosingfeld, the widower, Henrich Hermann Moller, who was described as a 'slave' in Schorpke farming community Asmissen #2. I guess that means he didn't own the land but worked for the Landegrave. She was born on 17 April 1724 at Bosingfeld.¹ She was the daughter of Jobst Wilhelm Kenter and Anna Ilsabein Drewes.

     Anna Margaretha Loysa Kenter died on 23 January 1807 at Schorpke at age 82.¹ She was buried on 27 January 1807 at Bosingfeld.¹

     Maria Louisa Kenter She married 4 Dec. 1753 in Blomberg, Philipp Simon Moritz Hennaus [Henejus]. There are the children of this marriage listed in the Kenter book. Page 110-111. She was born on 20 July 1727 at Bosingfeld.¹ She was the daughter of Jobst Wilhelm Kenter and Anna Ilsabein Drewes. Maria Louisa Kenter was buried on 17 May 1795 at Blomberg.¹
