John Swartzwelter was Hotel-Owner. He John was stabbed by the brother of his second wife, Esther Waite, in the Iron City Hotel, which he owned. He died the next day. He and Esther had two children. Margaret, born 27 July 1898, who married someone named Kagey; and Alice, born 8 May 1902, who married someone named Raub/Robb. He was born on 7 November 1865 at Coalburg, Trumbull Co, Ohio.

     Susanna Gottshall Susanna married 2nd John Limburg about 1883. In the 1900 Tamaqua census she is shown to have had 7 children with 4 living. She was born circa 1835.

     Elias Donat In the 1880 census for Tamaqua, Schuylkill Co. PA, page 101, listed with his widowed mother, is Elias' wife, Mary, age 22. There are also two grandchildren: Elmer, age 1, and Clara, age 7.

     Elias Donat married Mary Defranes.¹ Elias Donat was born on 19 December 1860; from 1880 Tamaqua, Schuylkill Co. PA census.¹ He was the son of John Donat and Susanna Gottshall. Elias Donat was buried in 1948 at Hazelton Vine St. Cemetery, Hazelton, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.¹

     Hannah Kistler married Henry Monroe Kistler, son of Joseph Kistler and Maria Hans, in 1869; These two were cousins.¹

     Hannah Kistler died on 3 November 1870 at Ohio at age 33.

     

     Rebecca Kistler married an unknown person ; Rebecca remained single. Kept house for her brother, Samuel. I believe they lived on a farm in Green Twp. Trumbull Co. OH. She was buried; Newton Falls, Main St. Cemetery, OH. She was born on 29 September 1838 at Lordstown, Trumbull County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Carl Kistler and Rebecca Sechler.

     Rebecca Kistler died on 21 March 1905 at Newton Falls, Mahoning County, Ohio, at age 66.

     

     Samuel Kistler married an unknown person ; He remained single. His sister Rebecca kept house for him on a farm in Green Twp. Mahoning Co. OH. He was buried; Newton Falls, OH, Main St. Cemetery. He was born on 24 April 1841 at Lordstown, Trumbull County, Ohio. He was the son of Carl Kistler and Rebecca Sechler.

     Samuel Kistler died on 16 August 1915 at Newton Falls, Mahoning County, Ohio, at age 74.

     Daniel Kistler was born on 14 October 1842 at Lordstown, Trumbull County, Ohio.¹ He was the son of Carl Kistler and Rebecca Sechler.

     Daniel Kistler died on 4 July 1896 at Newton Falls, Mahoning County, Ohio, at age 53.

     Casper Follweiler Casper's will was dated 24 May 1760 and probated 11 Nov. 1760 in Reading. In "Warrants and Surveys of the Province of PA, including the three Lower Counties," 1759. Vol. III:171, located in the Philadelphia City Hall Annex is a record of the survey of a tract of land situated in Oley. It is dated 26 February 1733 to Casper Fulweighla for 200 acres and allowances of 6 acres for roads. This was returned to the Secretary's Office the 25 day of May, 1736. A copy of the actual deed is in A-7 pg 545. This had to have been copied and sent to me by a clerk in Philadelphia. This is all the documentation I have for it and it's not written in my hand.¹ He was land In "Warrants and Surveys of the Province of PA, including the three Lower Counties," 1759.      JoAnna Maria Follweiler married Joseph Holder circa 1754; The Holder family were of the Moravian congregation in Allemangel. They were English speaking and had originated in London. This family moved to Stokes [Forsyth] County NC. about 1770. JoAnna Maria Follweiler was buried in 1799 at Dobbs Parish Cemetery, Forsyth, Stokes County, North Carolina.

     JoAnna Maria Follweiler died on 11 January 1799 at Dobbs Parish, Forsyth, Stokes County, North Carolina, at age 71.

     Bernhard Follweiler was the son of Casper Follweiler.¹ Bernhard Follweiler Bernard Volweiler: Northampton Co. Militia, PA Archives Ser. 5, Vol. 8:pg 503, Commanded by Henry Geiger. circa 1775 at Lynn Twp., Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

     Bernhard Follweiler died circa 1809 at Lynn Twp., Northampton County, Pennsylvania; Executed poll deed in 1808. He was tax lists the name is listed but he has no property, animals or anything - not taxed. in 1809 at Lynn Twp., Northampton County, Pennsylvania.²

     Andreas Follweiler was baptized on 24 January 1769 at Allemangel, Upper Hanover, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; Spons: Andreas Meier & Susanna Oswalt, single. He was the son of Bernhard Follweiler.

     

     Daniel Follweiler died; died young. He was christened on 25 December 1762 at Allemangel, Upper Hanover, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; Spons: Daniel Oswalt and Christina Dries, at age 9 weeks. He was the son of Bernhard Follweiler.

     Daniel Follweiler was buried at Jacob's Union Church, Lynn Twp., Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.¹ He was born on 2 October 1769 at Allemangel, Upper Hanover, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; Information from gravestone. He was the son of Bernhard Follweiler.

     Maria Dorothea Leaser She was the daughter of Frederick Leaser. She was born on 15 May 1769.

     Ferdinand Folweiller married Catherine Schmidt, daughter of Johannes Schmidt and Elisabeth Miller, at Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Ferdinand Folweiller and Catherine Schmidt The family of Ferdinand and Catherine has been established by the document found in the Recorder of Deeds, Lehigh Co., PA, Misc. Book 4, pg 356/7. Almost all the children were living out in Ohio, in Trumbull Co., and sent word back about the disposition of the estate through their Attorney. The husbands of the daughters are mentioned also. It was entered in Nov. 1846. I found the parents death dates, birth dates and Catherine's maiden name on their tombstones at Jacob's Church, Jacksonville, Lynn Twp., Lehigh Co. PA. Ferdinand Folweiller was born on 17 February 1765 at Lynn Twp., Northampton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Bernhard Follweiler. Ferdinand Folweiller was tax lists He has 200 acres and a still. Was taxed 4.29. in 1809 at Lynn Twp., Northampton County, Pennsylvania.¹

PA in April of 1800. The witnesses were Ferdinand Folweiler and Catharine Schmidt, his wife. In parens is the note [Catharine Schmidt is probably the maternal aunt of the bride.]. Catherine Schmidt was born on 11 August 1769 at Jacksonville, Lynn Twp., Northampton County, Pennsylvania; 11 Aug. 1767 according to J.P. Lutz. She was the daughter of Johannes Schmidt and Elisabeth Miller.

     Catherine Schmidt died on 18 October 1838 at Jacksonville, Lynn Twp., Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, at age 69; age 72.¹
